All assets will get their unique identifiers so that we can easily distinguish them. This identifier is called a 

umber. E.g. even if you&lsquo;re producing one video but in 3 different aspect ratios, you will receive 3 VINs, one for each aspect ratio.

VINs are essential because they allow us to track the performance of content across multiple platforms and are the foundation to providing us with valuable insights into how and why an asset is performing.

Unique VIN numbers per asset also enable us to track a host of legal information about the asset

Upon commission, you'll find your VIN numbers listed in your Production Services Agreement.

Guidelines & Guidance

Before you finalise your budget and sign a Production Services Agreement, you must confirm the Asset List. This is an overview of what you are being paid to produce and deliver.

Advertising Rights are basically the rights we need to be able to show footage, including 

 advertising the Red Bull brand and can across 

. On top of pack-shots or a high resolution can end-slate and/or the claim, advertising clips often contain a call to action.

As part of your deliverables you may be required to 

deliver footage that is cleared for use across all media to advertise the can and the Red Bull brand

. Your Red Bull contact will decide if this is required, and if it is, it will be part of your deliverables listed in the Production Service Agreement. Unless all the footage supplied for the production has been cleared for advertising, you will need to provide 

; one that has full advertising rights and one that does not (this can be used to promote the program you are making).
